In much of my work, I am interested in the complex relationships that question the understanding of how social environments shape us. Often times referencing social issues within a community context, my work can be seen as a system of economies in which I redefine the preconditions of material and language. Having engaged subjects as diverse as the factors that influence an understanding of people and the environments thereof; my process is an exchange between the execution of decisions and concessions made to the natures of the materials. Adopted less in terms of form and more as a kind of strategy; I decompose the subject and its parts and selectively reassemble and isolate those parts into disparate materials to articulate a precise formal language that speaks to our collective experiences, and the complex interactions therein.
